Jack Kornfield is a pioneering figure in bringing Buddhist meditation and mindfulness to Western audiences. After training as a Buddhist monk in Southeast Asia, he returned to the US and integrated his spiritual practice with clinical psychology. His influential work has shaped contemporary mindfulness-based therapies and spiritual psychology.
